“A wonderful physician and person! Very compassionate toward her patients!”
After 10 fulfilling years of delivering babies, Dr. Eleanor Figuerres now limits her practice to office gynecology. She loves having the opportunity to educate patients about their gynecologic health and to work with them throughout different stages of their lives.
With new medical data coming forth in recent years (since the WHI trial) regarding the safety of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), women have become more comfortable discussing and seeking help for their perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. Dr. Figuerres is a current member of The Menopause Society (formerly the North American Menopause Society or NAMS) and now provides care to a large number of perimenopausal and menopausal women. She is able to address concerns and symptoms, and discuss treatment options for a more comfortable transition
Dr. Figuerres received her BS from University of Iowa and completed her medical education at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency training at Midwestern University in Chicago. She is now Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
After residency, she practiced in the Chicagoland and Scottsdale areas prior to settling in Kenosha, Wisconsin where she has been practicing for over twenty years. Outside of her work, she is happily married with two daughters and enjoys promoting wellness, yoga, and travel.
